Urgent Care

The emergency room (ER) is built for life-threatening emergencies, like heart failure or an injury that features several broken bones. With that said, an illness or injury that doesn’t appear to be life-threatening but cannot wait until the next day should be treated at an urgent care center. Additionally, urgent care centers can provide quality healthcare whenever your physician’s office is closed or unavailable.

Here is an example: after you scrape a knee, is it necessary to travel to an ER, or is it better to travel to an urgent care center? For a scraped knee, traveling to an urgent care center or minor emergency clinic is the appropriate action.

At Affordacare we guarantee that patients with urgent treatment needs will receive the most effective care any day of the week at any time (including most holidays). We are committed to personalized, compassionate treatment.
